Digital Creative Director
Asia Pacific

As one of Asia’s pioneering digital creative directors, John Lambie held the creative reigns of XM Asia and XM Australia during the heady days of dot-com boom and bust and the phoenix-like emergence of Web 2.0.
His multidisciplinary professional background is a mash-up of market research, statistics, graphic design, copywriting, illustration, video-editing, photography, multimedia production and digital strategy. A Bachelor of Economics, he has also been variously employed as a burlesque dancer, trench-digger, actor, cartoonist and farm labourer, but has been working almost exclusively in the digital marketing and media space since 1994.
He has worked and consulted in Australia, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Singapore and Thailand for numerous brands, including Nokia, Telstra, Optus, Singtel, Starhub, Mobitel, Compaq/HP, Sony, Visa, Singapore Airlines, MTV, Carlton United Breweries, Heineken, Coca-Cola, Arnotts Biscuits, Audi, Mercedes Benz, General Motors, Shell, News Ltd, NineMSN, Channel 7 and the Australian Rugby Union.
His areas of interest are technology convergence, the social impact of democratised media and communications and the evolution of brands through co-creation and empowered consumerism. That and adding to his burgeoning international beer label collection.
